No longer the old smoker who struggle to stop smoking will have a drug that can help them out of this problem. A health research conducted by the National Institute to provide such drugs to the smoker, where the drug has effects similar to the effects of nicotine cause. So that they can reduce the desire to smoke.

Nicholas H. Caskey, PhD, head of the research that smoking habits can be controlled by stimulating or obstruct a chemical substance in the nervous system called dopamin. Drugs that can control the dopamin is Bromokriptin that can give effect "joy" that caused the cigarette smoker.

The researchers make an examination of the relationship between the level of nicotine and dopamin. Dopamin trust affect emotions and feeling happy. When the 20 heavy smoker in this research take medicine, the fact they need to reduce cigarette of the drug to prevent drunk effects dopamin. When given the fact dopamin resistor, thus the smoker is more often and longer accept cigarette.

The researchers also found that some effects of smoking Bromokriptin in the ketidakinginan (repulsion) to smoking. They also said that the effects of dopamin still function without interference.

Bromokriptin usually used for the treatment of various tumors as well as in Parkinson disease.
